The work is part of a polyptych now completed. This polyptych is made up of six 90x90 cm canvases representing the small garden of La Sablière where the artist resides. Assembled, it shows part of the garden bordered by irises in summer. In this sixth and final part, the trunk of a maritime pine with orange bark stands out against the blue of the sky through the foliage.
