35x45.7 in ~ Painting, Acrylic
This work made on the motif represents a couple seated at the hour of absinthe. The ritual will take place when the waiter brings glasses, alcohol, sugar and pierced spoons. The title refers to the poem by Charles Cros: "As cradled in a hammock Thought oscillates and swirls, At this hour when every stomach Drowns in a flood of absinthe."
